Hello Friends and Neighbors

With the support of my wife Rhoda of 19 years, and our four adult children and two beautiful school-age children I want to represent you in the great state of Wisconsin as your Republican Candidate for 46th Assembly District.

I’m currently serving as a two-time president and two-time vice-president of the Monona Grove School Board as well as serving as the junior vice commander of the VFW Post 7591 in Madison. My commitment to community service runs deep within Wisconsin as I have served on the Dane County Credit Union Board along with leadership roles on other community committee’s for the betterment of the people of Wisconsin.

ANDREW’S PRIORITIES

Parental Rights:

Parents should have every right to make decisions for their own children. We need to offer school choice, the right to know what is being taught in our schools and more parent participation.

Education:

We need to focus our attention on the children to give them the tools that they need to succeed and thrive. We need teachers to feel safe in schools to provide education to our children. If not, we will not have future teachers, as they are leaving within three years of hire. I plan to work tirelessly to bring education back to the local level, where it belongs and give school choice to those who want it.

Safety:

Dane County, especially in Madison, is not safe. Crime and shootings are at record highs and people are not safe in their communities and schools. Defunding the police is the worst thing to do. Supporting SRO’s in schools that need them. Students can’t learn if they don’t feel safe. As a veteran that protected and served his country, I should be able to protect and serve you. We need policies to help protect and serve.

Inflation:

The Evers Administration wanted to give all taxpayers $150 from a surplus. We don’t need anyone to buy our votes right now! We need that surplus to help our small businesses and our farmers. Our seniors and low-income communities are suffering, our small business sector is in shambles and inflation rates have diminished average Wisconsinites ability to purchase anything! I stand for a balanced budget and responsible spending.

Medical Freedom:

Wisconsinites have the right to decide what medical treatments they wish to have, and they have a right to make those decisions free from fear of legal, social, or economic repercussions. Parents should have the right to review their children’s medical records. Parents must have permission from children 12-17 to view medical records and make the right choice. This is wrong and I will work on policies to change this!

Veterans:

Homelessness and mental health has been a forgotten commitment in our community. We need better policies to better our veterans. I know what it takes to do this because I was a homeless veteran.
