I grew up in Gary, Indiana and moved to Madison, Wisconsin to finish my last two years of high school at Madison East. A patriot, I served our great nation on active duty in the U.S. Army. After a successful military career, I obtained a BA of Business Management and a Master’s Degree in Education-Counseling, both from Concordia University, Madison, Wisconsin.
Using my educational background I ran a successful small business, worked in the private and public sector before entering public service as Monona Grove school board president.
I currently reside in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin with my wife, Rhoda McKinney, of 19 years and six children.I have deep roots in the Wisconsin community, and have long been dedicated to serving it. Among my commitments I have been very active with several political organizations in Dane County.
